Drug trials

Sarah keeps hiding the ketchup at the back of the kitchen pantry which she thinks I don't know about, what she doesn't know is I have three bottles stashed in my bedside cabinet. So there.
So, recent months have seen a rise in my potassium levels and an end to paletable foodstuffs and a list of items low in potassium glaring at me from the fridge door, which frankly has been driving me bananas (potassium related pun totally intended). I am delighted to report that recently I have been asked to take part in a drug trial. This basically involves me drinking a delicious (!) chalky substance before breakfast and keeps my potassium at an acceptable level. If you are looking for me I am now to be found in the pantry in a ketchup induced coma whilst smothered in raspberry yoghurt.
Taking part in the trial has been relatively straightforward. I have to visit the hospital once a month where they check my levels and do a quick MOT on my vitals. As long as everything is ok they reissue me with my stock for the month and give me a free breakfast and pay for my petrol. Winner.
I never thought I would be part of a drug trial at least not a legal one but my experience of the team at the hospital and the improvement to my everyday life has made it more than worth it.
