Ketchup gate

Tara's potassium levels went up again today. This means that Tara has to watch her diet and restrict items that are high in potassium. Let me tell you something about Tara she has three favourite foods they are baked beans, milk and ketchup (she is also fond of yoghurt, but this didn't make the top three). In fact when recently asked if you were on death row what would you have as your last meal Tara gave the answer beans on toast. I think if she could put ketchup in milk and blend it together she would serve that with the beans on toast as some kind of ketchup thick shake such is the extent of her obsession.

As I am sure you will have guessed they are all obscenely high in potassium and so are currently on lock down in the pantry. This is not going down well. Cries of 'who cares about potassium' and 'who's bothered about having a stroke/heart attack anyway' can be heard coming mournfully from the kitchen. There has also been some stealth application of ketchup inside items of food that I can't see. Including sandwiches and folded pieces of pizza. She thinks I don't notice but I do. I might squirt some tobasco in one of the squeezy bottles of the banned red stuff - give her a nasty shock and put her off it. We'll see. Just for the record Yoghurt is really high in potassium too, it would be wouldn't it.
